Standard Textile, a leading international group in professional linen, is seeing the growth of its French division boosted by the development of innovative products.
With the acquisition, a year ago, of Europe's first robotic garment manufacturer and a laundry and pre-shrinking facility in the Vosges, Standard Textile France has equipped itself with finishing and manufacturing tools and is saving 75 jobs in the historic cradle of the textile industry.

The company thus reaffirms its determination to produce as close as possible to its customers while preserving French know-how.

A resolutely committed company
Having reached the "Gold" commitment level awarded by EcoVadis for the management of the company's CSR performance, Standard Textile has obtained the France Terre Textile® label, the label for French manufacturing. The latter guarantees that more than 75% of the production operations of the labelled items are carried out in France according to strict criteria of short-circuit manufacturing, quality and CSR. The Vosges sites are also recognised by the regional label Vosges Terre Textile®.

Innovative and eco-responsible products
Backed by these labels and distinctions, Standard Textile is accelerating the development of innovative products with an eco-responsible approach, as illustrated by the development of the Naturel linen range. This innovation in bed linen and terry linen is much more environmentally friendly, as it uses no chlorine, no peroxide and no optical brightener for bleaching. The result: a reduction of nearly 100% in the chemicals used and a reduction in carbon footprint of at least 35%!

The Centium Wave™ is also remarkable. This bed linen combines a wave pattern with the patented Centium® fabric, is naturally creased and requires no ironing. Its innovative and permanent design retains a unique feel and appearance. The combination of polyester and cotton ensures lasting performance and savings on care, notably with faster drying. One last example of innovation is Elévation™ technology, which concentrates the weight of the terry at the heart of the linen and lightens its edges to showcase an elegant pattern. This unique process produces linen that is perfectly absorbent, comfortable and attractive while maintaining the same quality of gesture and the same perception for the customer.
