NH Hotels & Resorts strengthens its presence in Paris with the complete renovation of two iconic hotels
The transformation of NH Paris Gare de l'Est and NH Paris Opéra Faubourg illustrates Minor Hotels' commitment to offering modern, functional spaces that combine innovation, quality and excellence in one of Europe's most prestigious capitals.
Madrid, 16 March 2025 – NH Hotels & Resorts announces the full transformation of two of its hotels in the French capital: NH Paris Gare de l'Est and NH Paris Opéra Faubourg. These renovations, now complete, reflect Minor Hotels' firm commitment to innovation and excellence, in order to consolidate the positioning of its NH Hotels & Resorts brand in the French market. The company is dedicated to offering modern, functional spaces that meet the expectations of international travelers, while preserving the architectural identity and unique character of each hotel in one of Europe's most iconic destinations.
Located in strategic spots in Paris, the two hotels reflect two complementary facets of the city: the mobility and urban energy around the major railway stations, and the culture and heritage of the Grands Boulevards.
NH Paris Opéra Faubourg
In the heart of the 9? arrondissement, between Montmartre and the Drouot antiques district, a short walk from the Opéra Garnier, the department stores and the famous Boulevard Haussmann ? home to the most prestigious fashion brands ?, the NH Paris Opéra Faubourg hotel unveils its new identity after a complete renovation. Housed in a six-storey Haussmann-style building dating from 1880, the hotel combines the richness of its architectural heritage with a contemporary aesthetic inspired by the world of ballet and the Grands Boulevards.
Inside, guests will discover 101 bright rooms and suites, some of which have a balcony with a view of Rue La Fayette and, for some, of the Eiffel Tower. Each space has been designed with warm tones and details evoking artistic, sophisticated Paris, drawing on the fashion, style and culture of the 50 and 60. The result: a perfect blend of timeless elegance and contemporary comfort.
The lobby, enhanced by a fireplace and cosy lounges, creates an intimate atmosphere in the heart of Parisian life. The bar completes the experience with an elegant, relaxed setting, ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing, meetings or shopping. Thanks to its prime location and new ambiance, NH Paris Opéra Faubourg is the ideal choice for cultural getaways, city breaks or business trips. The neighborhood also offers options for every taste, from shopping on the Grands Boulevards to the lively nightlife of Pigalle.
NH Paris Gare de l'Est
Located in a Haussmann-style building emblematic of 19th-century Parisian architecture?, opposite the legendary Gare de l'Est, the NH Paris Gare de l'Est hotel has been completely renovated to regain all its splendor. The hotel retains its link with the railway world through its new interior concept, while incorporating a resolutely contemporary design in its rooms and common areas.
With a prime location, opposite Gare de l'Est ? a true architectural gem connecting the capital to the Grand Est (Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne) as well as to neighboring countries such as Germany and Luxembourg ? and less than 10 minutes' walk from Gare du Nord ? offering connections to the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany ?, this hotel is a strategic base for discovering the city and connecting to Europe. In addition, its surroundings invite guests to explore both iconic sites and charming hidden corners: the peaceful Jardin Villemin, the picturesque Passage Brady and the historic churches of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and Saint-Laurent, all within a few steps.
The hotel offers 207 rooms, including superior categories and suites, some with a balcony. The modern, minimalist decor is enhanced by graphic nods to the history of the station and the great European journeys. The facilities have been fully modernized to guarantee optimal comfort, with functional spaces suited to short or extended stays. The common areas have been redesigned to favor conviviality and flow, including a space with a fireplace. The breakfast buffet offers a selection of fresh products and international specialties, while the Lounge Bar provides a pleasant setting to relax at any time of day.
NH Gare de l'Est is the ideal option for organizing professional events, thanks to its location close to two of the city's most important railway stations and its metro connection to Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports from the station right at the entrance. This prime location facilitates connections across Europe, making it the ideal meeting point for business. The hotel has five meeting rooms, offering various configurations for a total of 152 m², all flooded with natural light and overlooking the iconic station. To ensure the success of every event, the hotel team takes care of all the necessary details: coffee breaks, cocktails and meals, hostess and interpretation services, as well as airport transfers.
With these new additions, Minor Hotels strengthens its presence in Paris and continues its expansion strategy in France. NH Paris Gare de l'Est and NH Paris Opéra Faubourg thus enrich the group's portfolio in the capital, complementing the recent opening of NH Collection Paris Ponthieu Champs?Élysées, inaugurated a few months ago, which marked the debut of the premium NH Collection brand in Paris. Minor Hotels thus continues to build a solid, diversified offering in one of Europe's most strategic urban destinations.
