Reminder: the sandwich market in 2009/2010
With sales of 35 billion euros including tax (drinks included), the snacking market in France accounts for 1/3 of the restaurant market in France. This form of food service covers all products that do not need to be consumed at a table: sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta, pizzas, sushi, sweet snacks, and cold and hot drinks.
In 2009, the sandwich market in France represented 1,96 billion sandwiches consumed, at an average price of 3,23 euros, for sales of 6,33 billion euros.
