Roca's W+W: a bathroom innovation combining a washbasin with a WC

Roca, the leading brand in bathroom design and styling, presents its new "two-in-one" solution combining a washbasin with a WC.
This innovative project revolutionizes the bathroom through both its ecological value and its design.

Roca presents a novelty 2010 unveiled as a preview at the latest ISH trade show: the sustainable and stylish duo, W+W. A single sanitary unit in which the water used by one element supplies the flush of the other: someone had to think of it and make it happen!
W+W therefore includes two essential elements of the bathroom: the washbasin and the WC.

Thanks to cutting-edge technology, the water used in the washbasin feeds directly into the toilet cistern.

On the way, it undergoes a systematic anti-bacterial treatment that eliminates all bacteria and guarantees excellent water quality. (Note: in case of a surplus or shortage of purified water, the automatic water inlet/outlet system takes over again!)

The water saving achieved with W+W is 25%!!! (versus a traditional washbasin + WC: 3/6 liters)

This innovative concept was developed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, internationally renowned architects, within the Roca Innovation Lab, part of the Roca Design Center.

Multidisciplinary teams design the solutions of tomorrow there and prepare the bathrooms of the future. This shows how, thanks to Roca's expertise and constant research, an avant-garde idea becomes reality, and beautifully so.

Because beyond its eco-responsible qualities, the W+W duo is also an aesthetic solution for small spaces, where it is often difficult to combine a washbasin and a WC without sacrificing the beauty of the room. W+W has also received a prestigious design award:
Also nominated for the "Designpreis Deutschland Award" 2010.

Winner of the "HTC Reader's Award Choice" from Wallpaper magazine in January 2010.
Nominated by FX as an "Eco Product" 2009 and "Best Product of the Year Award".
W+W is a unique product combining functionality, water savings and exceptional design, illustrating Roca's leadership in innovative bathroom solutions as well as its commitment to sustainable development.
