Opening of the VP Plaza Espana Design 5* in Madrid

Spanish hotel group VP Hoteles is inaugurating its new address in the heart of Madrid, the VP Plaza España Design 5*.
Located on the iconic Plaza España in the historic center of Madrid, this trendy new hotel positions the family-owned hotel group VP Hoteles at the forefront of art, design and architecture.

With its 214 spacious rooms spread across 10 categories, the 17-story hotel perfectly blends ultramodern design, technology, state-of-the-art amenities and breathtaking views of the city. Some rooms and suites feature a private terrace, a spacious walk-in closet and a private fitness area.

In keeping with the VP Hoteles properties, known for their lush, plant-filled atmosphere, this new hotel offers an oasis of greenery at the center of the building, with living walls extending across all 17 floors.

B720 Architecture Studio, interior designer Cuarto Interior and Studio Gronda, who are behind the building's aesthetic, collaborated with contemporary artists Dario Urzay and Fernando Palacios to give this building its prestige.

At the center of the hotel stands the monumental work of Catalan artist Père Gifre, known for his sculptures inspired by the movement of water. A 25-meter-high metal waterfall flows spectacularly from the glass floor of the 12ème-floor pool down to the ground floor.

The Gingko Sky Bar, located on the rooftop on the 12ème floor, offers an impressive 360° panoramic view of the Royal Palace, the Temple of Debod, the mountains surrounding Madrid and the emblematic Plaza España at the foot of the hotel.

Adjacent to the outdoor pool*, this spacious and elegant bar, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a fully soundproofed nightclub, was designed to become the must-visit spot of Madrid's nightlife and to welcome locals and international tourists alike.

On the ground floor of the hotel, Botania restaurant, the new creation of the trendy Larrumba group, extends from the hotel's exterior facade, in a landscaped garden atmosphere, to a vast patio. A trendy venue that brings Madrid a bold culinary offering inspired by Asian fusion cuisine.

The hotel also offers a fully equipped gym open 24h 24, a spa and beauty salon,
a second bar on the ground floor, a large underground car park, a business center and a flexible space of 1400 square meters, bathed in natural light.
