NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso unveils a new look

Opened on 28 November, this hotel marks the brand's debut in the family segment, offering a stay that combines nature, comfort and contemporary hospitality in the heart of the Alps, with direct access to the ski slopes.

With the arrival of the snowy winter season, NH Collection Hotels & Resorts strengthens its position with NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso. The property reopened its doors on 28 November with a renewed design that highlights the authentic essence of the region and the distinctive elegance of the brand. Located in the heart of Alagna Valsesia, the hotel has been renovated to offer a unique experience in which contemporary comfort blends harmoniously with Alpine tradition. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, has been designed to convey warmth, authenticity and sophistication, in perfect harmony with the natural setting.

At 1 154 metres above sea level, the hotel is located in the picturesque village of Alagna, within the splendid Alta Valsesia Natural Park. This mountain setting, with its typical wooden and stone houses, preserves the rich Walser cultural heritage, whose traditions remain alive.

Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the hotel is the ideal retreat for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers and those seeking relaxation, with options suited to families. Alagna stands out as a top destination for skiers and snow lovers, with more than 150 km of slopes linked to the Monterosa Ski area, while also offering family activities and wellness experiences.

The hotel has 56 rooms, including Superior and Family rooms, with extra beds and bunk beds ideal for children. For an even more exclusive stay, the Executive Suite offers a private spa with panoramic views of the peaks of Monte Rosa. The experience is completed by a 700 m² wellness centre divided into two areas.

The Adults Only area, covering 300 m², is designed for relaxation and balance, with indoor and outdoor pools, hydromassage, saunas and four treatment rooms. The 400 m² family area offers pools, a slide and child-friendly spaces, ensuring a fun and safe environment. Guests can also enjoy a fully equipped gym and a large garden with a children's play area and sun loungers.

The dining experience at NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso combines traditional flavours with a creative touch. At the heart of this concept is the Biancospino restaurant, led by chef Omar Bonecchi, which offers a modern reinterpretation of classic Italian cuisine. Each dish is prepared with quality local ingredients and follows a nutritionally balanced approach, true to the hotel's philosophy. Guests can choose between à la carte options, full board or the chef's menu of the day.

From skiing to high-mountain excursions and panoramic trails, NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso offers a comprehensive programme of activities for sports lovers, nature enthusiasts and those who wish to experience the mountains in all their dimensions. The hotel's booking service provides easy access to the Monterosa Ski area, with slopes for all levels and direct public transport links from the property.

In collaboration with the Alagna Ski and Snowboard School, the hotel also offers ski lessons with child supervision, as well as nature excursions designed so that the whole family can enjoy the mountains safely and with pleasure. Guests can discover the historic 17th-century Walser villages, where wooden and stone houses preserve the authentic Alpine essence.

For those wishing to explore the Alagna Valsesia valley in greater depth, the hotel offers guided itineraries through its most picturesque villages: Mollia, Rassa with its ?Valle dei Tremendi?, Campertogno with its beach on the Sesia river, and Varallo, rich in the chapels, sculptures and paintings of the famous Sacro Monte.
