New Forbo Flooring Flotex Hospitality & Leisure flooring collection

If the ?Instagrammability? of holiday venues is establishing itself as THE big trend, Forbo Flooring is sure to reshape its codes with its new Flotex Hospitality & Leisure collection. For photo addicts, it will no longer be just a matter of posting the most beautiful landscapes on social media, but of capturing the aesthetics and inventiveness of interior spaces.

Indeed, Forbo Flooring's new flocked floor coverings, with their exclusive designs, give hotels, holiday residences, leisure venues and restaurants interiors with character that people love to share.

Flotex floral, Flotex textile, Flotex geometric & graphic, Flotex statement: the 46 designs of the 188 references 2022 vie with each other in originality, drawing inspiration from both tradition and current, even future, trends. Available in rolls, they can be coordinated, allowing endless combinations and an ultra-personalised signature, while combining acoustic performance, traffic resistance, ease of maintenance, durability...

New flocked floor coverings from Forbo Flooring

The high-definition digital printing process developed by Forbo Flooring enables it to offer ever more striking designs. While Flotex floral naturally offers country and bohemian designs, such as vivienne, elderflower, elder border or bloom, the floral motifs take on an elegance reminiscent of coats of arms in the versailles, chambord, silhouette and lace designs. Whether the result is ?fresh? or more muted, Flotex floral instantly adds distinction to interiors.

For its part, Flotex textile gives the tartan a playful new twist through its plaid designs, or plays on a woolly look with newport: all promising a cosy and particularly warm interior. As for Flotex geometric & graphic, the marquis, chantilly, enigma, arabesque, trianon, heritage and jaipur designs mix optical effects for spectacular, almost artistic, resolutely unforgettable results!

Finally, Flotex statement enhances floors with scrolls (grand palais, petit palais, canopy, flourish) and interlacing patterns (rockefeller, chrysler, mandala, red rock), gives them a most contemporary mineral look (natural haven, natural blend, natural patina, natural bloom), or simply plays with graphics that are both naive and refined (empire, grand rex, bellagio, venetian, tribeca, greenwich, soho, chelsea).

It should be noted that many designs in these 4 ranges can be coordinated and come in a ?Border? version specially adapted to corridors and circulation areas.

A floor covering and design made for the high-traffic areas of the Hospitality & Leisure segment

Design is therefore given pride of place so that all these ?transit areas? of the Hospitality & Leisure segment truly make an impression and leave an indelible memory for those who stay there. Yet the floor coverings that define these spaces must also keep their original appearance over time to always ensure an impeccable welcome for guests: this is precisely the challenge met by Flotex thanks to its unique construction. Its 80 million fibres per m2 and its PVC backing make it as durable as tiles, with no risk of sagging, always impeccable, while offering slip resistance R13, a true guarantee of safety.

With a declared impact sound reduction of 21 dB, a major asset in areas subject to heavy traffic to provide the comfort necessary for users' well-being, Flotex also boasts great ease of maintenance with water or steam. Indeed, in addition to its 100 % waterproof and rot-proof backing, its particularly compact structure prevents dirt from penetrating, thus limiting soiling. Dust and allergens trapped on the surface are released with simple vacuuming (+ 30 % more dirt picked up compared with a carpet), guaranteeing excellent indoor air quality (best rating of the A+ health labelling). Moreover, Flotex is the only textile floor covering approved by the prestigious Allergy UK Seal of Approval™ from the British Allergy Foundation.
