Multi-activity in the hotel industry: the Ascotel Lille Métropole Complex

Gilles-Maurice Bellaïche, General Manager of the Inter-Hotel Ascotel, located in the heart of the renowned Cité scientifique of Villeneuve d'Ascq (59), had the opportunity to take over an adjoining auditorium/conference centre. This is how the new ?Complexe Ascotel Lille Métropole? was born, offering four functions that ensure flexibility and versatility of facilities and services:

1. A conference centre including the MACC S, a comfortable 385-seat auditorium fully equipped with high-tech audiovisual technology, linked by duplex to a videoconference room and to four other multipurpose rooms with natural daylight, able to seat 100 additional people at desks,

2. Accommodation at the Inter-Hotel Ascotel, a 3-star hotel with 83 rooms.

3. Catering at the Mélantois, a 300-seat restaurant that can be extended by a marquee with a capacity of 600 people.

4. Practical meeting organisation: management of participants (registration, welcome, transport...), customised entertainment on request

Beyond the seminar rooms usually offered in hotels, the rather unusual presence of an auditorium, a genuine mid-capacity performance hall, will make it possible to host corporate conventions, conferences, colloquia and science-focused symposiums, as well as shows for conference delegates or the population of the Lille metropolitan area, in the best conditions of comfort and acoustics.
