Celebrating 200 years anniversary of the iconic Lion Palace and the 5th anniversary of being a Four Seasons Hotel, our masters of craft created one-of-a-kind event inspired by artistry, passion and excellence. Grand gala celebration took place all over the Hotel, turning the familiar areas such as the lobby, restaurants and promenades into incredible immersive theatre, inspired by the traditions of historic balls.
The evening was a journey through the palace’s historic past, with horse-drawn carriages in front of the Hotel with a red carpet and musicians of the Mariinsky Theatre welcoming guests in the Hotel lobby. Mysterious butlers whose faces were hidden under the mask guided guests through the magic forest of the Tea Lounge, caviar and champagne club with live jazz piano music at Xander Bar, bustling Asian market at Sintoho restaurant and fascinating Italian masquerade at Percorso.
A culinary journey that night included favorites of Russian Tsars, black caviar and white truffles – signature dishes created by the team of Chef Matteo Guida. The gala celebration continued on the Noble Floor with desserts and a live concert performance.
