Launch of Korner Hotels: A New Vision of Hospitality

The Korner group is proud to announce the launch of its new brand of 3-star hotels. These human-scale, city-centre hotels reinvent the codes of hospitality through the guest experience and team management. Following the successful launch of OVERSIGHT, which already offered an innovative management model for independent hotels, Cécile Rosset, Maxime Letessier and Benoît Piel are going even further and rethinking the codes of a hotel group through horizontal management and decentralised governance. They are convinced that engaged, fulfilled employees deliver the best guest experience.
Decentralised management suited to employees' current needs.
Korner is the first hotel group to adopt decentralised management. It is designed to empower employees and help them grow, and is far better suited to what employees now want. Each hotel is run by a Korner Host, who welcomes guests and also handles certain support functions of their choosing.
The various support functions generally handled by head office are divided into numerous Roles and assigned through elections based on each person's wishes. This is a major change for a hotel industry that is usually highly codified. Roles are assigned for terms of several months, which allows Korner Hosts to take on responsibilities while learning the different aspects of hotel management. Thanks to an internal tech platform, they are autonomous in their learning and able to quickly develop new skills. Beyond encouraging employee involvement, Korner Hotels enables them to progress professionally over the long term.
Comfortable hotels in the heart of cities
Korner's city hotels have 20 to 35 rooms. A single room category is offered, adaptable for 1 to 4 guests. The teams have focused on the essentials to provide an excellent night's sleep: simple rooms fitted with acoustic panels for optimal soundproofing, blackout curtains and very comfortable bedding. Each hotel also has the Korner Space, a true place for living and sharing. It allows guests to settle in to work, play or eat. It includes a kitchen equipped with microwaves, kettles and refrigerators, and a lounge area open all day.
Korner is becoming THE benchmark for urban stays, whether for business or leisure.
A digitalised guest journey in step with the times
Korner is innovating by offering a 100% digitalised guest journey, from booking to check-out, including key handover and check-in. A Korner Host, a true Swiss Army knife, is always on hand to welcome, advise and support guests during their stay.
?At Korner, we are transforming the hotel experience by combining comfort, innovation and professional development. Our human-scale hotels and digitalised journey allow our guests to feel free, just like at home. For our employees, we offer a unique opportunity for professional growth. We are delighted to launch this new chain of 3-star hotels in Paris, and we look forward to continuing to redefine the standards of modern hospitality. We are convinced that when employees are in charge of their daily work and understand what they do and why they do it, they perform better and the company benefits.? says Cécile Rosset, co-founder of Korner Hotels, enthusiastically.
Korner Hotels has just inaugurated 5 hotels in Paris: Korner Montmartre, Korner Eiffel, Korner Saint-Marcel, Korner Opéra and Korner Montparnasse. The brand's goal is to open 10 by the end of the year in the capital, then expand across France and internationally.
By launching this new hotel chain, the Korner group establishes itself as a pioneer of modern hospitality. Its approach, focused on employee fulfilment in the service of the guest experience, redefines industry standards. With clear ambitions for growth and expansion, Korner is determined to become an essential benchmark for urban travellers worldwide.
