Forbo's Marmoleum modal: a linoleum serving design and modularity

As a linoleum expert, Forbo is putting the spotlight on its Marmoleum modal range, a modular linoleum made up of 51 references, 6 designs and 3 formats, offering interior architects, fitters and designers endless layout possibilities.
Its increased resistance to heavy traffic and heavy loads makes it an ideal ally for premises classified U4 and gives it an optimal level of trust among project owners.
Its ease and speed of installation have made it a favorite among installers. It is worth noting that, with its ?bio-based? ingredients, Marmoleum modal, which is naturally antibacterial, is emblematic of Forbo Flooring Systems' commitment to the environment and to the health and well-being of everyone. Marmoleum modal is therefore positioned as an ecological alternative to traditional LVT, while retaining, and even enhancing, the design properties behind the success of this family of floor coverings.
Design combined with the natural qualities of linoleum
Marmoleum modal stands out for a wide range of colors and material effects that are completely new in linoleum. The 11 lines designs come in neutral tones, nuancing greys, beiges and taupes, whose seemingly classic look is offset by random linear effects that invite you to create subtly original, resolutely warm atmospheres. Conversely, the 7 textura designs immediately present a very contemporary look, playing on a delicately grained, wood-inspired texture.
What lines and textura have in common: their 100 x 25 cm plank format.
The slate designs reveal a slate pattern whose relief echoes natural stone while combining it with the warmth and purity of linoleum. Strikingly realistic, the 4 slate references give spaces a sophisticated, refined look. Still in this mineral spirit, the shade designs, with a stone and concrete look, bring elegance and intensity to layouts with character. 9 shades of grey, beige and taupe welcome 1 authentic black, ensuring a perfect balance of nuances while also allowing for contrast: you can create captivating atmospheres full of shadow and light, or opt for a graphic black and white checkerboard.
The marble effect also features in the new Marmoleum modal collection, with 11 marble designs. Timeless tone-on-tone marbling sits alongside others with more pronounced veining. While refinement is once again key, combining several marble designs is perfectly suited to contemporary settings. Finally, it's time for vivid tones with the 8 colour designs: from the vitamin-yellow lemon zest to the incandescent scarlet red, by way of the exotic laguna blue, the colour references make it possible to bring subtle variations or, on the contrary, bold accents to even the simplest layouts.
