Eclisse expands its motorization range for pocket sliding doors
Automating an interior door makes it possible to move from one room to another without having to handle the door. It brings comfort and accessibility. Eclisse, which has offered motorization for pocket doors for several years, is expanding its range of automation systems with E-Motion and EvoDrive+ technologies. These solutions will meet the needs of both private individuals and professionals, in new builds as well as renovations, with a design touch, as only Eclisse knows how.

Eclisse, making everyday life easier with motorization for pocket doors

Since the 2000, Eclisse has offered motorization for pocket doors. It all began with Ecliss 5, a motorization system with a mechanical belt. In 2014, E-Motion revolutionized Eclisse's offer thanks to its electromagnetic motor. Installation is easier, operation is silent and accessories can be added. Today, EvoDrive+ refines the automation options, for a sleek and silent result.

?Eclisse specializes in pocket door frames; surface-mounted tracks are complementary products that broaden the range of interior sliding doors. EvoDrive+ is the logical next step to complete our solutions and meet demand from the field? explains Maryline Guillou, Marketing Manager at Eclisse France. ?We had planned to launch the EvoDrive+ motorization in the autumn. Because of the current health crisis, we brought the market launch forward. EvoDrive+ is therefore available today? adds Olivier Guilliec, Sales Director at Eclisse France.

Like the Eclisse range of pocket sliding doors, the motorization options are technological, stylish and easy to install. E-Motion and EvoDrive+ work instantly once plugged in thanks to self-adjustment. Easily adjustable, they allow the installer to set the motorization parameters (opening and closing, closing resistance and opening time). The electromagnetic motors ensure reliable operation over time.

Eclisse offers 2 motorization solutions for pocket sliding doors

Depending on the layout of the room, the project or personal preference, Eclisse offers two motorization options for a pocket sliding door, in new builds as well as renovations. It is therefore possible to motorize a door after installation, for example to meet an accessibility need.

EvoDrive+, the motorized surface-mounted track
EvoDrive+ works with an electromagnetic motor that produces linear force along its entire length. Unlike traditional automation systems, the linear motor uses no belts or other mechanical components. EvoDrive+ is compatible with Eclisse wooden doors (40 mm) and all-glass doors (8/10 mm).

E-Motion, the electromagnetic motor
E-Motion is built into the sliding track that moves a sliding door. The motor can be installed in a special Unique E-Motion frame or in an existing frame. For installation after the fact, the clearance height of the existing frame must be reduced by 2cm. E-Motion is compatible with Eclisse wooden doors (40 mm) and all-glass doors (10 mm).
