DENY FONTAINE: access control now also relies on technology

Whether for hotels, industrial sites or commercial buildings, DENY FONTAINE, a subsidiary of Groupe Sécuridev, designs comprehensive access control solutions that meet every security requirement.
Mifare technology is now the most widely used on the market for read-write badges. Attentive to these developments, DENY FONTAINE has chosen to expand its COMPACT range by integrating Mifare technology into its high-performance badge readers C500 and C-PROX.
C-PROX and C500: two even higher-performing solutions
Thanks to Mifare technology, DENY FONTAINE brings new security guarantees to its C-PROX and C500 proximity card readers, whose reliability, understated design and ease of installation have already won over many customers for controlling every type of access.
Powered by four batteries, the stand-alone C-PROX badge reader offers impeccable reading quality. Providing traceability and excellent management of passages, it operates with controlled entry and free exit.
Fitted with two two-color indicator LEDs on the front panel, feedback can be seen instantly. Customizable, the C-PROX reader, in knob or lever handle version, is offered with a variety of badge formats such as credit-card type, key-ring fob or wristband.
Compatible with the C-PROX reader and all DÉNY FONTAINE electric locks, the centralized badge reader C500 is available in off-line or on-line versions.
Surface-mounted or flush-mounted, it guarantees flawless traceability of operations and, in the on-line version, real-time information management thanks to two three-color indicator LEDs on the front panel and/or an audible indicator. Its customizable front panel allows it to blend harmoniously into any decor style.
For great operational flexibility, the C-PROX and C500 readers are paired with software that simplifies card encoding, re-reading and recording of all operations carried out on the software, viewing of transactions at lock level, and time management.
Mifare, a predominant technology
With a frequency of 13,56 MHz, Mifare technology offers the advantage of a larger data storage capacity and is compatible with other types of Mifare access control.
High-performing, Mifare technology also ensures more secure operation through data encryption, which limits the risk of hacking and optimizes the security of installations.
By integrating Mifare technology into its badge readers, DENY FONTAINE offers an alternative to the 125 kHz version, which remains available, and with it, new prospects for its customers in terms of management and usage flexibility.
