Danoline ROLD12 Fix: the new interpretation of plaster wall cladding

Exploring Danish style in all its forms, Knauf Danoline offers a collection of plasterboard tiles with clean, elegant and timeless lines. The combinations are almost limitless, for ceilings as well as walls, thanks to the various types of perforations, edges and installation variants available.

With the launch of ROLD12 in 2021, Knauf Danoline had already shaken up the design of modular plaster ceilings by giving them depth, a unified perspective and a wood look. With ROLD12 Fix, Knauf Danoline innovates by offering specifiers a wall cladding that brings rhythm and relief to the space, customization to suit any taste and acoustic qualities. ROLD12 Fix also fits in perfectly with ROLD12, playing the card of creative wall/ceiling echoes.

ROLD12 Fix: features and performance

Made from recycled plaster (up to 30 %), ROLD12 Fix consists of a Unity 3 plasterboard (600 x 600 x 12,5 mm, 3,5 x 3,5 mm perforation and 8,3 mm centre spacing) in a white finish, clad with 12 trapezoidal fibre plaster slats (25 x 600 x 12,5 mm) printed with a light oak finish (total thickness of the assembly: 25 mm). ROLD12 Fix is thus designed to enhance architects' creativity, in both new builds and renovations of commercial buildings, hotels, reception halls, as well as conference, meeting and performance rooms. ROLD12 Fix delivers high acoustic performance (?w up to 0,90), combined with a fire reaction rating of A2-s1, d0. In terms of indoor air quality, ROLD12 Fix has an A+ classification, the best level for low emissions.

ROLD12 Fix: customization to suit any taste and play of light
ROLD12 Fix also offers customization, with the possibility of coloring the trapezoidal slats from a wide palette of colors (including RAL & NCS shades), for one-of-a-kind creations. Like ROLD12 ceilings, ROLD12 Fix can also be fitted with light fixtures specially designed to fit between the slats: DANOlight LED strips slip easily between the trapezoidal slats, with no tools required. Here again, specifiers can vary the position of these strips and their spacing for unique, luminous designs.

ROLD12 Fix: standard and easy installation

Installation is simple, by screwing onto an invisible vertical metal frame using screws specially developed by Knauf. These DANOloft® screws are ultra-thin, pre-lacquered white and perfectly sized to fit into the microperforation space (between slats). The screw head stops flush with the surface of the tile and the white finish of the screw blends into the white of the tile, guaranteeing a harmonious, highly discreet and neat finish. This discreet fixing further enhances the resulting wall cladding, which appears to stand without any fixings. This solution developed by Knauf also removes the need for plastering, sanding and painting, guaranteeing fast and ultra-clean installation.

ROLD12 Fix panels can be installed in two ways.
The first, at head height, with the slats positioned horizontally, which ensures compliance with impact resistance requirements in all types of buildings. The second, from a height of 1,80 m, with the slats installed horizontally or vertically.
