Coolor: tangy colour trends, Gerflor brings our floors to life!

Trend colours.
Colour, in all its many forms, has become the essential vector for tailor-made decoration. Gerflor's in-house design studio has once again demonstrated its creativity by giving a new decorative and chromatic dimension to decorative vinyls 2010.
A cheerful, invigorating, sparkling and vitamin-packed collection... for resolutely contemporary interiors! The new Primetex Coolor roll collection is built around two colour worlds, the 'trend' colours and the 'recreational' colours.
Particularly on trend, the Calvi plum design offers a very convincing concrete effect in a warm tone for a sophisticated, contemporary look.
Bold, the red design exudes vital energy for a very trendy look.
Soft, reassuring elegance... the muted taupe shade signals a return to natural tones and timeless values.
As for white, it offers a new take on purity: combined with shades of beige and ecru, it creates a decor full of nuances.
The grey mood appeals through its simplicity and brings a very urban dynamism.
Recreational colours
Floors are adorned with tangy pastels for environments filled with infectious euphoria, intended in particular for children's spaces: playrooms, bedrooms or any other rooms where you want to have fun!
Both soothing and refreshing, blue will naturally find its place in a child's bedroom or a bathroom.
Green is synonymous with spring all year round! It makes it possible to create a modern, playful decor.
Why not dare to use orange to add a bright, original note to a room! This stimulating colour is treated in a hyper-energetic, flashy tone, ideal for revitalising slightly austere spaces.
Could the most feminine of shades have the power to make us ?see life through rose-tinted glasses?? Resolutely girly, pink will work wonders in bedrooms and can also warm up a cold or poorly lit room.
Gerflor's commitment to sustainability:
- ISO certification 14001: Gerflor sites are certified (manufacturing rules, control procedures, staff training...).
- fume treatment: Gerflor factories are equipped with systems to recover the condensates generated by the presence of VOCs so as to release clean air into the atmosphere.
- resource preservation: Gerflor has installed closed-circuit water cooling systems and designed manufacturing processes that optimise energy consumption.
- non-hazardous waste: in accordance with the law of 1992, Gerflor sorts its waste in order to recover as much of it as possible rather than destroy it (pallets, paper, cardboard, plastic films, production offcuts...).
- other waste: it is sent to specialised destruction and recovery channels (containers, soiled materials such as rags, inks...).
- materials and recycling: Gerflor is committed to using raw materials that respect the environment and people's health:
- 57% of the PVC resin comes from sea salt.
- as stabilisers, Gerflor uses a calcium/zinc mixture with no health impact. No heavy metals are used.
- for plasticisers, Gerflor uses only safe phthalates (DINP and DIDP).
- regarding pigments and inks: Gerflor uses water-based inks and uses no heavy metals or solvents.
- for fillers: Gerflor uses calcium carbonate (chalk).
