• Orderbird and Yoni Saada are launching an educational digital campaign focused on management and innovation, to support restaurateurs in making their projects a success.
Orderbird, Europe's leading provider of iPad cash registers, announced today that chef Yoni Saada is the brand's new representative in France. Yoni Saada has selected the innovative orderbird payment solution to run his restaurants. He is also joining forces with the company in a digital campaign made up of 12 informative videos offering sound advice to restaurateurs on management and digital innovation.
A culinary consultant, Top Chef 2013 semi-finalist, head of several restaurants in Paris and TV host, Yoni Saada is a model to follow when it comes to gastronomic success. His latest restaurant, Bagnard, a street food canteen, was named project of the year by Gault et Millau in 2015.
?The key to success in the restaurant business, besides a good menu and impeccable service, is knowing how to take the digital turn,? confirms Yoni Saada, chef and restaurateur. ?Working with Orderbird was an obvious choice for the success of my project. By simplifying to the extreme all the time-consuming and stressful management tasks - accounting, orders, expense control, customer loyalty, etc. - I managed to gain precious time to develop new concepts and thus take on new challenges.
The key to a restaurant's success: good management
A successful restaurant project relies on the ability to offer a well-calibrated offering and effective budget control, combined with an excellent level of service. To perform well, you need a clear concept and the right operating tools,? explains Benjamin Poulard, Director France of Orderbird.
By fostering a better understanding of the challenges and of the means to be implemented, a complete digital point-of-sale system does indeed make the restaurateur's daily life easier, de facto improving overall performance and revenue.
?Mobile ordering with an iPad cash register has the advantage of streamlining service and therefore freeing up time for waiters, who can devote it to their customers,? adds Benjamin Poulard. ?Add to that control over accounting and expenses, with precise insight into sales trends by hour and by day, and you get a well-calibrated offering, avoid losses and safeguard your margins.?
A video campaign driven by Yoni Saada's advice
The partnership between Yoni Saada and orderbird stems from a desire to promote an approach to the restaurant business based on shared values: passion for the trade and a constant desire to create and grow. The two players have thus jointly developed a series of 12 advice videos - The recipe for success in 12 ingredients - in which Yoni shares his best practices and recommendations: having a good concept and testing it, keeping an eye on profitability, the strategic choice of location, enhancing your digital presence…
Released regularly on the Orderbird blog and YouTube channel from 17 April 2018, these short, dynamic videos present the essentials of restaurant success to support professionals in their management journey and enable them to put in place simple principles that will change their daily routine.
