AURES unveils TWIST-P, a compact all-in-one POS Mini-Pack

TWIST-P (the "P" stands for Printer) is a new variant of the TWIST point-of-sale terminal. A new POS concept developed by AURES Technologies, it is supported by an exoskeleton with a distinctive design (black and red) that integrates a POS* (*point-of-sale terminal) and its matching receipt printer. An "all-in-one" Mini-Pack, TWIST-P is a compact POS system with a small footprint, including in height; ergonomic and stable on the sales counter, it saves a significant amount of space.

Integration of high-performance AURES sub-assemblies
TWIST-P integrates the POS system of the same name; a dedicated space beneath the exoskeleton base has been provided to house the matching thermal receipt printer, the ODP 444. The Full HD touchscreen of TWIST-P is the one used in TWIST, and its PCAP panel is multi-touch, ultra-flat and borderless (13,3 inch diagonal), for optimal performance.

Consistency and uniformity of equipped IT fleets
The motherboard of TWIST-P is the same as that of the AURES JAZZ and TWIST ranges, which ensures consistency and uniformity across the various IT tools deployed at the point of sale (for example, easier software updates and maintenance).

Choice of three "embedded" processors, housed in an exclusive miniaturized compact case developed by AURES
Supported by 3 types of powerful, mobile, fanless (no ventilation) "embedded" processors, this motherboard is protected by a very rigid, highly accessible miniaturized compact case (only 10 cm per side) that holds two SSD slots M2 as well as the RAM.

USB-C technology
TWIST-P integrates USB-C technology, which significantly reduces connectivity, since a single USB Type-C cable is enough to carry all the signals essential to its operation simultaneously (power, USB data and video).

All superfluous cabling is thus eliminated and system reliability is strengthened (fewer exposed cables in contact, which reduces vibration risks, for example).

Simplified, tool-free assembly
The assembly and mounting of the sub-assemblies that make up TWIST-P, exoskeleton included, can be done in no time, without tools, quickly and simply, which makes maintenance and interventions extremely easy.

In addition, associated AURES peripherals such as the 2D PS 400 scanner or the OCD 400 customer display are fitted via a magnet system that offers great flexibility during assembly and disassembly.

A complete and ergonomic "All in One" Mini POS with its integrated receipt printer, TWIST-P will find its place on any sales counter, even the smallest, and can accommodate a number of options and associated peripherals.
