2F Leuchten equips the Almanac hotel in Barcelona with its decorative lighting fixtures

The luxury Almanac hotel in Barcelona is located in the city centre, a short walk from the famous Passeig de Gràcia avenue.
The grand celebration of this unique hotel took place with all of its partners and suppliers on 13 February 2018. 2F Leuchten was delighted to attend as one of the main suppliers.

Two years ago, WSF Group contacted Daniel Falkner, one of the expert lighting consultants at 2F, to tell him about the plan to open a new 5-star hotel in the heart of Barcelona. They were therefore looking for a competent and professional partner who would work closely with them on the creation of bespoke decorative lighting fixtures. They already knew Daniel well from other projects carried out together previously.

The main objective of 2F was to provide WSF Group with efficient solutions combining design, functionality and ambience. To check the feasibility of the technical drawings, 2F Leuchten worked from the outset with the Jaime Beriestain studio, a renowned interior designer from Barcelona. The two teams were in regular contact and 2F presented a selection of different types of samples as well as control units to achieve perfect atmospheres for the different areas of the hotel.

?The biggest challenge was combining the creative side with the technical requirements. However, what a great reward to see the results in person.? says Daniel Falkner.

2F Leuchten created the decorative lighting fixtures as well as some technical fixtures for all the spaces of the Almanac Barcelona hotel. They contributed their expertise at every stage of the planning, always keeping sustainability, value for money and flawless execution in mind.
