Description
The grease trap (or grease separator) is mandatory in professional kitchens and in food trades in general, HORECA (cafés, hotels, restaurants).
The law requires you to filter wastewater to retain grease and not discharge it into the sewers. To do so, it is essential to use a grease trap (grease separator) allowing natural filtration thanks to the difference in weight between water and grease. Indeed, lighter grease rises to the surface of the water and only water drains away.
Made entirely of food-grade stainless steel, the grease trap is indestructible and does not fear oxidation; moreover, it is perfect for professional use. As we have seen, the grease separator (grease trap) works naturally and requires NO electrical installation. Simply connect the outlet of your sink, dishwasher or other appliance to the inlet of the trap/separator, then connect the outlet to the drain (into the sewer). That's all!
The grease trap (separator) basket must be emptied 2 to 3 times per week. Use the valve to drain the water from the trap. Once or twice a year the trap must be completely emptied and cleaned.
Grease trap 60L: ideal for 2 sinks.
GREASE MUST NOT BE THROWN IN WITH YOUR DAILY WASTE but should be recycled like used frying oil.
