How to maximize suite space and enhance elegance with KLEIN® sliding systems

Design and technology at the service of the guests of the Ushuaia Beach Hotel in Ibiza: how to maximize the space of the suites and to sublimate the elegance thanks to the KLEIN® sliding systems.

The luxury, the concerts and the entertainment that it offers have made of the Hotel Ushuaïa Beach, on the Beach of En Bossa, all a symbol of Ibiza. The "daytime parties" of electronic music have, in particular, made its fame with "clubbers" and celebrities from around the world.

In November 2014, the 5th European Hospitality Awards awarded him the "Best Use of Technology" award in recognition of his ability to anticipate the expectations of his clients in all areas of hotel service.

An example of the use of state-of-the-art technology in the rooms and common areas of the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel is the VIB (Very Important Bracelet), transformed into a "portable" global technology that allows customers not only keyless access to Rooms but also a payment via Paypal.

Its elegant and modern facilities are characterized by Indonesian style decoration, designed to offer guests an exclusive and luxurious ambience and a 24-hour VIP service.

Each room is decorated according to a different theme: an oasis of serenity and elegance, with comfort guaranteed by the most advanced technology.
We are in a contemporary luxury that combines sobriety and elegance of design, optimal functionality and technical reliability.

The challenge of designing private spaces was to organize the rooms in a functional way, to provide them with a generous space that would benefit as much as possible from the fabulous natural light of Ibiza, respecting a sober but luxurious style In its finishes. This challenge has been dramatically enhanced by the use of KLEIN® sliding door systems, which are present in all 234 rooms and suites of the hotel. They allow the separation of the bathroom from the rest of the living room by sliding doors frameless, subtle and minimalist, which visually enlarge already spacious suites.

The architects of Estudio Vila 13 have developed a transparent glass cube, hardly visible, to define the space devoted to the shower without depriving it of natural light.
The shower is therefore separated while being part of the rest of the stay. It is accessible by a sliding glass door that opens without noise and effortlessly onto a fixed partition, also made of transparent glass. A single KLEIN® Rollglass rail, extremely compact and cut to 45, provides the technology and design necessary to elegantly integrate all elements of the glass cube, fixed partitions and sliding leaf.

The treatment of the toilets is similar but preserves privacy: discretion is required for a square room with a sliding door in translucent glass that offers a minimized separation between the movable part and the fixed part.

In both cases, the absence of a rail on the ground avoids any obstacle and the absence of a frame contributes to the visual continuity of the whole space. KLEIN®Rollglass allows simple installation thanks to a single, discrete and compact rail. The task of the professional installer is made easier: the lower rail makes it possible to insert the guide and the brakes without having to drill the ground.

In a spirit of elegance and minimalism, KLEIN® technology also incorporates a system of pliers. They hold the glass and avoid machining.
Likewise, the accessories, handles and stops are discreet and fully respect the integrity and purity of the glass.
KLEIN® sliding systems are a guarantee of technology, design and elegance for the customer, but also of reliability and ease of installation for the professional. They are particularly suited to demanding projects such as the Hotel Ushuaia Beach, "says Carlos Rodriguez, director of CIDAL, SL, specialist in aluminum carpentry.
