Four Seasons Resort Hualalai introduces a Hawaiian Kanpachi sustainable fish farming and culinary experience in partnership with Blue Ocean Mariculture, the sole producers of Hawaiian Kanpachi.
Guests will start with a private tour of Blue Ocean Mariculture’s hatchery, located just a few miles from the Resort. Here, they will be lead through the life of the fish from egg collection through juvenile growth.
After returning the Resort, the Resort’s ribcraft boat will take guests to the open-ocean pens where they witness the harvesting of the fish from the water. Finally, a Four Seasons chef will prepare a 4-course dinner for the guests featuring the Hawaiian Kanpachi prepared in various ways with wine pairings.
