It is in the heart of the Vosges, in Gerardmer, that the company Linvosges was born in 1923. The history of this city is intimately related to that of the Masters Toiliers who, in the last century, were whitewashing their linen fabrics woven in the near neighbors. For nearly 100 years, Linvosges has remained faithful to these principles by perpetuating the tradition of high quality linen. The "Linvosges Hôtellerie" department created more than 60 years ago, offers a complete range of bed linen, bath and table as well as decorative items. The confectionery workshop, located in the Vosges in Gérardmer, brings together all the know-how, thus allowing to realize special orders, customizations and finishes of quality. These know-how, preserved and transmitted from generation to generation, allow specific techniques, such as the embroidery Day Venice, which require years of learning.In order to be closer to the expectations of the professionals of the hotel, the Linvosges collections are in perpetual evolution. A research that aims to simplify their daily situation: the dyes of the canvases and sponges are chosen among the most resistant, the toppings are made of cotton fabrics, polycotton or polyester, the pillows and quilts are in goose feathers , duck or synthetic, the pads are resistant to maintenance. Finally, upholstery fabrics are carefully chosen from an increasingly wide range of offerings.
